Les artisans de Beachcomber se forment en leadership

22 artisans de Beachcomber Resorts & Hotels qui ont suivi un programme de formation en leadership d’une durée de sept mois, ont obtenu leur diplôme le 28 novembre dernier au Charles Telfair Campus. Cette formation, le Beachcomber Leadership Development Programme (LEAD), s’adressait aux managers et superviseurs des hôtels, de Beachcomber Catering et du Siège. Les modules au programme - Essential Management Finances for Non-Finance Managers, Marketing, Leading Projects, Labour Laws, Managing Change, Coaching & Mentoring, Leading & Building High Performance Teams – devraient permettre aux participants d’acquérir de nouvelles compétences avec une orientation sur le travail collaboratif. La formation initiée par Beachcomber, était dispensée en partenariat avec le Charles Telfair Campus.

«Ce programme favorise la transversalité. Au travers de cette formation, nos artisans rencontrent leurs collègues venant des autres Business Units du Groupe. Ils apprennent à se connaitre, partagent leurs ‘best practices’, et s’enrichissent des expériences de chacun», a expliqué Bertrand Piat, Group Human Resources Officer chez Beachcomber. Pour Gilbert Espitalier-Noël, CEO du Groupe, les deux qualités importantes chez un bon  leader sont l’exemplarité et la capacité d’innover, et c’est ce qu’il attend des artisans de Beachcomber.


Beachcomber artisans get trained in leadership

22 employees from Beachcomber Resorts & Hotels who followed a 7-month training programme in leadership have been awarded their certificate on the 28th September at the Charles Telfair Campus. This training programme, the Beachcomber Leadership Development Programme (LEAD), was dedicated to Managers and Supervisors of the hotels, Beachcomber Catering and the Head Office. Essential Management Finances for Non-Finance Managers, Marketing, Leading Projects, Labour Laws, Managing Change, Coaching & Mentoring, and Leading & Building High Performance Teams - the modules comprised in the programme, should enable the participants to acquire new skills and focus on collaborative work. The training initiated by Beachcomber, was done in partnership with Charles Telfair Campus.

“This programme encourages cross-functionality. Through this training, our artisans meet their colleagues from other Business Units of the Group. They learn to know each other, share their best practices, and enrich themselves with the experiences of others”, explained Bertrand Pirat, group Human Resources Officer at Beachcomber. For Gilbert Espitalier-Noël, CEO of the Group, the two most important qualities of a good leader are the exemplary nature and the ability to innovate, and that is what he expects from Beachcomber artisans
